Once you have chosen the devices and accessories you need for your application, they need to be installed in the vehicle and wired in correctly.

Sometimes this involves just a small adjustment to the existing loom like additional wiring or a connector change, but in the case of more dramatic modifications it may require a complete rewiring of the vehicle.

A significant number of engine management problems are caused by poor wiring. For this reason MoTeC recommends that you always involve a person with plenty of wiring experience in any major installation.
