Ignition Expander |
|
The MoTeC Ignition Expander enhances the ignition control capability of
any MoTeC ECU . The MoTeC IEX will allow a single MoTeC ECU output to control up to 8
individual coil drivers. Twin Expanders may be used to control engines with more than 8
coils. The signal is sent from the Ignition output on the ECU
to the input on the Expander. The Expander then breaks that signal from
the ECU into the proper number of outputs and distributes them to the
correct channel on the Expander connector. From here the signal can be
sent to an ignitor to fire the coil. |

Traction Control
Multiplexer
|
|
The MoTeC Traction Control Multiplexer goes between the ECU and the wheel
speed sensors It gathers the speed information from the 4 wheels and calculates the
ground speed from the fastest rolling wheel and speed difference from
the driven wheels. The MoTeC Traction Control Multiplexer is very useful in allowing
4 separate speed channels to be brought into one input of the ECU.

convenient module which can be mounted near the sensors and only requires
6 wires to communicate with the Dash Logger or M400/600/800/880 ECU.* E888

Compensation (CJC) inputs, 8 analog voltage inputs, 4 (1 - 5Khz)
digital inputs, 2 switched inputs and 8 PWM capable outputs. PWM 1, 3, 5,
7 may be run between 8Hz and 5KHz and duty cycle may be controlled between
0 and 100% in 255 steps. PWM 2,4,6,8 may be run between 1Hz and 100Hz and
duty cycle may be controlled between 0 and 100% in 20 steps. |

CAN
Expansion Module combines several input and output functions into one
convenient module which can be mounted near the sensors and only requires
6 wires to communicate with the Dash Logger or M400/600/800/880 ECU.* E816
Features 16 varying voltage inputs, 2 Thermister inputs, 4 (1 - 5Khz)
digital inputs, 2 switched inputs and 8 PWM capable outputs. The
E888 and the E816 communicate over the CAN bus at a maximum frequency of
50 Hz. PWM 1, 3, 5, 7 may be run between 8Hz and 5KHz and duty cycle may
be controlled between 0 and 100% in 255 steps. PWM 2,4,6,8 may be run
between 1Hz and 100Hz and duty cycle may be controlled between 0 and 100%
in 20 steps. |
