Beware of inexpensive but stolen ECU's MoTeC USA has received several calls from customers asking about very inexpensive ECU's for sale on some of the auction websites. Beware! Before you commit to purchasing an ECU, get the serial number!. We have a database of stolen ECU's which we can check for you. The stolen ECU's have not been enabled regardless of what the seller may tell you. The enable codes have been destroyed. Let us make sure the ECU you want to purchase is legit. If it is not, you will be buying a very expensive display item. Do yourself a favor to avoid a problem. Call MoTeC USA with the ECU serial number. We will make sure your ECU is not on the stolen list. We are committed to the best customer service in the industry for the products we sell and nothing makes our job more difficult than having to explain to someone that the ECU they thought they were buying is a useless paperweight because it was stolen. Additionally, if your ECU is stolen, call us immediately so we can add it to the stolen list. We have recovered several stolen units for customers in the past and we may be able to help.
