PWC Plug-In ECUs
PWC Base Maps
Base maps are designed as a good starting point for the ultimate tune. Fine tuning will always net slightly larger gains and customers using their PWCs for racing are recommended to have at least the air fuel ratio checked.
Yamaha
Choose the base map based on fuel system and supercharger wheel used and then on the octane of the fuel to be used. Free flow exhaust, intercooler, aftermarket air cleaner systems and spark arrestor removal do not affect the choice of base map.
Notes:
- Base maps suit standard injectors.
- All Yamaha maps have an 8400 rpm limit.
- The different octane maps have different ignition main table curves and different ignition compensation tables.

To set fuel pressure on adjustable regulators
When using any Yamaha 2 or 3 base map, the fuel pressure should be set to the appropriate value.
- Fit an accurate fuel pressure gauge to the fuel line
- Run the engine with the boost compensating hose disconnected.
- Run the engine for as short a time as possible as it will be running rich.
- Adjust the regulator to the correct fuel pressure for the start file.
- Refit the boost compensation hose.
Kawasaki
The provided base map is suitable for all compatible Kawasaki craft.
Notes:
- Base maps suit standard injectors.
- The Kawasaki map has a 8300 rpm limit.

Choose the base map based on the year the craft was built and then on the injectors and dash used. Free flow exhaust, intercooler, aftermarket air cleaner systems and spark arrestor removal do not affect the choice of base map.
